The shaking is a total different feeling then your baby getting hiccups. My baby has done both. With hiccups you can actually put your hand on your belly and see your hand go up everytime the baby hiccups.

I to actually Google this few days ago on this subject.  Also called my doctor.  Both said its normal it could be hiccups but very doubtful since hiccups feel like a rhythm they say it could have been from the baby being startled or also when we stretch sometimes you shake for a quick second and that is what your babies doing it's very common they told me babies don't get seizures in the Womb..and if by chance they do you feel it earlier on around 14 weeks and it happeneS more than eight times a day as far as I'm concerned it's totally normal
