first time mommy

Is it normal to be scared about giving birth? ... I worry myself sick over silly things, I saw on the news that a woman died while giving birth and it's got me worried. I'm healthy and the baby is too. So is it just my pregnancy brain making me worry like this?

I was super scared but once labour started and I knew what contractions felt like, it was empowering rather than scary. It's pain with a purpose.

I was absolutely terrified until I took my birthing class and realized it's going to happen no matter what. The combination helped me I'm 30 weeks pregnant and more confident in my ability than ever not a fear in sight!

Worrying is normal. I would recommend you to not watch labor videos, it'll just add unnecessary fear to your already anxiety towards it. People dying during birth is very unlikely, so please don't think about that. The way a person dies will happen regardless. I would recommend you just look up info about ways to help ease pain during labor.
