I experienced the most horrible nose bleed around 1am last night. I have never had one before and it was so horrible I started vomiting due to the amount of blood that was dripping down the back of my throat. It was the worst thong ever. Im in the middle of my second trimester and wasn't sure if the pregnancy and dry/cold air had anything to do with it. So glad to have seen this post this morning!

I am in my second trimester and The same thing happening to me for 3 weeks. It is happening due to dryness in ur nose during sleeping hours. Its better to drink water before going to bed and also if u wake up in middle of night, drink some water.

Happened to me a few weeks ago. I think it was because I had gotten up a little too fast and then all of a sudden my nose was bleeding.  Freaked my husband out lol

This was my situation as well.
1) Try drinking enough fluids.

2) Take some almond oil or coconut oil and put it in ur belly button at night, this will help to remove dryness from nose and throat. This is my old grandma's tip and it worked well for me.

3) Eat watermelon, this fruit helps in blood circulation keeping blood pressure normal. High body temperature during pregnancy dry away throat and nose which in turn results in nosebleed.

I hope these remedies work for u as well.

Get a q tip moist and swab your nose with it. Also if you can invest in a humidifier. I get nose bleeds normally when the air is dry but they have been worse since I got pregnant. Humidifiers are amazing
