first ultrasound?

Hello again ladies! How is everyone tonight? I again, can't sleep. So I figured I'd ask a question to all other mommas out there. :) okay, so this is my second pregnancy. and my first appointment is actually on Monday. I am 7 weeks and 3 days as far as I know. I'm just wondering when you all got your first ultrasound or even heard the heart beat? I feel like I should know his because I'm not a first timer, but with my first, I was already like 12 weeks when we found out I was pregnant. so I don't know if I'm too early or anything? idk. Any advice would help! Just wanna know what to expect on Monday! Thanks ladies! Look forward to hearing from you all! <3

I feel kinda special, i had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks 4 days and we heard the heart beat loud! And strong it literally startled me because i wasn't expecting it . it was a normal ultrasound not vaginal and now im 17 weeks and baby's heart beat is extremely strong, i have syncope (passing out / blacking out abruptly) and my baby is super strong. Last BPM was 9/25/14 and 142bpm. So every baby is different!

It really depends on your insurance more than the doctor. With tricare, us military, you only get 2 ultrasounds in a normal pregnancy. I just had my first one at 9 weeks 6 days and got to hear the heartbeat as well. I don't get another one until the 20 week anatomy scan and then that's it unless I pay out of pocket or there's an issue.

I became pregnant by ivf so that I had trans vaginal ultrasound at 5w4d and saw the baby's heart beating. And my Dr was able to see the heartbeat though abdominal ultrasound during 10th week.

I am pregnant with my third baby, my first I was 7 weeks when I miscarried and we got a ultrasound for 3 Weeks and we didn't get to hear a heart beat. But with my son baby number 2 I didn't get a ultrasound tell I was 12 weeks and that is round about the time we heard the heartbeat too. Now with this baby(girl) I got a ultrasound at 8 weeks but didn't hear the heart beat tell I was 27 weeks so it depends on your doctor.

I wasn't suppose to be able to have children and I'm having a lot of problems already so there being very precautious with me so a lot of ultrasounds. I've had 4 and I'm almost 9 weeks. I had my first at 4w3d they weren't able to see much or hear anything. But at 7w1d they got a really good picture and heard a very strong heartbeat.
