flu shot

IM 15 weeks pregnant and my doctor tried to scheduled me to take the flu shot without asking if I even wanted to take it. I have a bad feeling about this flu shot. Has anyone taken it, and what were your side effects? I hear they are bad. Any thoughts ?

I refused the flu shot and my doctor got very rude and snippy with Me after I wouldnt cave in....it's your right.just make sure you are washing your hands often this flu season!

I refuse to get flu shots, my Dr knows better than to just schedule me for something without asking.

I got the flu shot, no side effects. Baby and I are doing just fine.

I'm 39 weeks & I recently got the flu shot about 3 days ago... I feel completely fine, but my arm were I got the shot is very sore still. Hurts when I touch it.

If you don't feel comfortable taking it than don't. It's not bad for your little one, however. It's really good to get the shot. The antibiotics are good for their little immune system and yours because you are both at risk due to pregnancy weakening your immune system. Your doctor would never have scheduled you for the shot if he believed it was a risk for the baby. But again, it's ok to take the shot. Just stay away from anyone that has the flu if you don't.

I got it at 14 weeks and I had no side effects.
