Flu update: so i called ob. She had me take Tylenol to reduce fever, mucinex dm to cough, and benadryl to dry up. When the fever wouldn't go down for 2 hours after Tylenol she had me go to E.R.
Baby was monitored and is fine. My throat is killing me, but no more fever! Thanks

If there is an urgent care opening your area today go in. They may want to prescribe you tamiflu which only is effective if you start it within the first 24 hours of symptoms. I got influenza in December and my doctor said that the benefits of it far outweigh the risks because influenza in pregnancy is super serious and can lead to death for you and baby if it gets bad enough.
Try to stay cool and hydrated if you can't get in and if your fever spikes head to the ER.

If your temp rises above 103 go to the ER. until then it *****.  Dont freak out. Treat the flu like you normally would.
