My parents bought me a bassinet and my boyfriend parents were going to buy the baby a crib but I told him I'm going to use the bassinet a lot so I can just put it by the bed when I sleep and he gets mad and said just use everything your parents bought you and I won't buy the baby anything. I've tried telling him they can buy the baby other things if they want but he just got mad.

Yeah I hate the basis et I use a packnplay for a.few.months then then crib. You need a crib regardless.....

Your going to need both. The bassinet only lasts for so long - there is a weight limit, you have to check the product info. I suggest you tell your boyfriend that ya'll will need both but the crib won't need to be used until the baby gets a little bigger. I also suggest you get a crib the converts into a toddler bed, includes toddler rails and conversion kits. Will save ya'll money later in life.
