gastric bypass after baby

So here I am still in the weight I gained with my second. (Just last week I had my 5th) I was 170 lbs before and after my 1st. I'm now aprox 280lb. (Gained about 100 with my second). Haven't really gained anything with my last 3. Anyways I've always been disgusted with myself and their dad didn't make it better. With all the name calling putdowns and stuff its really messed up my head and has actually prevented me from even having sex with him. We're in the process of a breakup - I kicked him out about 2 months ago. Since my grandma died  He was my only support - but barely. has anyone gonethrough bariactric surgery after having a few babies? How was your support system? How did you feel pre and post surgery mentally and physically? This weight is causing me health issues and I just want to feel better. :(

I had gastric bypass March 29th 2014 I have lost about 165 pounds after two kids 12 yrs and four yr old girls I am now prego with my third at 200.4  I was way heavier then you 365 pounds at my heaviest  313 before surgery with a month on liquid diet lost about 18 pounds i haven't gain any weight actually lost more weight as I did with my second pregnancy  i can say the people who you think will support you be the ones who don't . I still deal with being down sometimes not because of the weight but everyday things . But I wouldn't change my decision for anything in the world .   It is a total life change and you feel so much better about yourself . If you need any advise or have any questions just send me a message I would love to answer any questions you have . Good luck

Thnks! I totally agree the people who say they will be there aren't. It *****. I'm hoping I'm approved for it as our government insurance completely covers the procedure. I have been hearing lots about tons of excess skin is that true? If so how did you manage that? I know it takes a while to get in and it And The closest centre is almost 2 hojrs away so I would have to do a lot of driving.

Yea the skin thing is true  I have a lot of extra skin in my arms and my stomach  then my boobs .  I looked into getting it removed  in my arms and belly and a lift  in my boobs . I plan on doing it after this baby next year. But for now I wear shape wear  sometimes with certain clothes to hide the belly skin  and my arm which is the worst I usually just let it show our wear sleeves  if it's not to hot . But I still say it's worth it . I wear a 14 or large in jeans from a 26-28 and large or xl it depends in shirt from a 3x-4x top  boobs  went from a 46 k/l to a 36 Ddd   There a little bigger now since I got prego . You won't be able to drive home after surgery because of the pain meds they have you own and just from the pain in your stomach and no lifting over a gallon of milk due to a possible tear .  So would need some help with the kids for a little at least a week or two it's hard at first but he gets better I did ask myself why I do this to myself at first but after the weight came of and get to shop for smaller clothes the attention you get and the shock I truly am happy .

You should try dieting 1st. There nothing more motivating then having a ex eat his heart out. Plus excise is healthier and it inpowers you to be a better person all the way around.  Good luck with what ever you decide

I wouldn't be turning tothis if I hadn't tried anything prior. I went to the drs today and she was ok with doing the referral so we booked another apt in a few weeks to complete the referral. She said it only takes a couple weeks to get the initial appointment and surprisingly only a few months for the surgery. I thought it was going to be way longer then that! Looks like I'll be on my way to happiness sooner then later.
