gender prediction

Has anyone used the baby heart rate for gender prediction. Cause my baby won't show us its gender.the heart rate was 160. If so was the prediction correct.

I guess MOST of the time its true that if its over 140 its a girl. For me and a few of my friend it was right!

I'm 37 weeks and my child heart beat has stayed between 140-150 and I'm having a girl, now the same thing happen when I had my first child I stayed between 140-150 & I had a girl as well. So, I think if it's in the high 50's and 60's then you having a boy I think but at the same time everybody different.

That gender prediction by heart rate is definitely inaccurate. My midwife said it's a bunch of crap...her words, not mine. I'd say be patient. Your baby will reveal his/herself in due time. Just like they say people carry boys low...I carry mine low & she's definitely a girl. Every pregnancy is different.

I did. My baby's heart rate never got above 145 so I knew it was a boy! Now his heart rate will go from 135 to 165 depending on when he is awake and moving or sleeping. But until I got the ultrasound and saw he was a boy his heart rate was always low! And he stayed low in my uterus!(:
