I'm pregnant with my second child, i went natural with the first and plan to do it again with this one. I think everyone should try it natural at least for the first time.
Once the baby is out you don't have to deal with the pain of the contractions or anything after that. You will feel much better and more relaxed.
Ultimately it's your choice of course. But I'm letting you know of my experience and the fact that I'm going to do the same again.

For more than we tell you what's better for us you will only know at the moment l... Why because some don't get as much pain as other and who knows maybe it won't be as bad as we tell you or maybe for more than you try you couldn't handle the pain I would say let it to the moment

I say do as much reading and preparing yourself for birth to help make it as least scary as possible. That being said, I recommend going in open-minded and don't be afraid to ask for pain medication if you need it- whether it be an epidural or another form.

I went natural but it did hurt.  I did get to a point where I wanted something stronger but I held out... don't regret it at all. I heard you do have back pain in later life when you've had an epidural

Epidurals  low labor, inhibit pushing and can cause other issues. I had it with my first two. They didn't work, caused me to violently vomit both times and I've had terrible migraines  since. I did it natural twice since and will go natural with baby 5.  My labors are faster, pain isn't that bad and recover is far better for me.

I had one with my first son and had to make them turn it off because it stopes labor and with my second one it was fine idk it depends on you.

Best thing is to educate yourself on the risks of epidurals/pain meds etc. and also how to relax and what to do to naturally deal with pain in labor (Bradley method child birth classes or book if classes are not available are great for this). When you are well educated you can make better decisions for you and your baby. I am expecting my second baby and had my first naturally. It was painful, but I had great support and would not want to do it any other way. Having a doula is really good too.

Well I'm a first time mom also and I was going to try natural but if I can't take the pain then I'll think about using epidural.  I read that if the person puts it in your spine wrong you can have back problems. Idk if that helped you but I just thought I'd share what I was planning to do (:
