growth scan?

I went to my 32 week appt today and doctor said my uterus is measuring at 28-29 weeks (which is what it was at four weeks ago) and that I now need a growth scan. I am very sure of my dates for LMP and due date and a month ago the measurements were the same. Has any one had this happen and what was the cause? Im really scared and have to wait til next tuesday to get in for the growth scan.

I had this with my daughter,  they said I measured too small and booked me in for a growth scan.  Turned out my baby was growing healthy and normal,  sometimes it's just the position of the baby.  She was born on due date.

I'm going through the same thing.  My growth scan is on Thursday.  Ive been reading that it's usually not a big deal and the doctors just want to check on the safe side.  I'm 32 weeks and my doctor told me not to worry he just wants to make sure everything is ok.  She is breech right now and he said position may have something to do with it.  I hope everything turns out ok on Tuesday for you!

I am experiencing the opposite. At my 30 week scan I was measuring 34cm which is a month later. Might have to have an ultrasound Wednesday if I'm still measuring big. I'm worried too, but the best thing we can do it not stress and have faith everything is OK. Good luck momma!

I never had this happen before to me but my girl friend did with her baby it stop growing at 28 weeks the would do a scan every week and check her growing and weight once she hit 35 weeks they got her in for a c section as baby stopped growing at 28 weeks and did not get any bigger from then it so it was safer for her to be out then in baby only stayed in hospital for 1 week and then was released home baby is healthy and doing fine **
