have a question about kicking and hiccups...

How can you tell the difference between  kicking and if the baby has hiccups
Im 18 weeks

Hiccups feel like a quick vibrations to me. That's how felt the different. It's easier to feel then in the 3rd trimester

I always felt the hiccups down in my lower tummy uterus area. She kicks me under my right boob and in my ribs.

Yea i was going to say i diddnt feel hiccups till my third trimester, but im 15 1/2 weeks with my second daughter,  and i already feel some movement!!

With my first two kicks w er e more sporadic and hiccups were a more steady movement kinda like a heartbeat.

Hiccups will feel consistent and more evenly spaced apart. Kicks tend to be more random and don't have a pattern.

I don't think you can feel hiccups until late third trimester. But either way you can see it. Kicks will usually be more spread out while hiccups will be like a consistent heartbeat.
