headaches anyone???

So right now its 3:30am and woke up a few minutes ago with a terrible headache like the ones you get when you sleep too long...this has been happening for two days already like I feel sort of pressure in my head I thought it was maybe bad circulation because I always find myself laying on my back when I wake up so I tried laying on my sides and I keep getting this headache...not to mention it goes away after few minutes I sit up. What can this be?

I have had awful cluster headaches and migraines since I've been pregnant. My doc says could be hormone related (I've never been able to take birth control because the hormones gave me migraines)  he also said could be caused by the increase in blood volume during pregnancy or nadal /sinus congestion. Claritin D is safe to take as LONG ad you're not a high risk pregnancy or allergic to Claritin obviously

Actually sounds like a sinus head ache, common in pregnancy because all the extra blood swells the sinuses.  Reg pain relief never worked on mine. Ask your Dr about a decongestant ( they are safe) or a nasal spray that can help.

I have been getting a migraine every second day. My doctor had given me mersyndol forte to take when it's too much (sometimes so painful I vomit) I have to see a chiro or physio, due to the relaxin hormones the body realeases when pregnant my doc thinks I might have out my neck out. Chat to your doc because head aches during pregnancy range from inconvenient to a sign of something serious & only a doc could check you out properly :)
