Thanks for your advice I'm gonna just muster up the courage and talk to my manager but will definitely leave April just will have to keep myself busy at home for the next two months xxx
I get 9 months I can go back earler than that but I want to be with my baby as long as possible of course my manager ain't so great with risks during my pregnancy she knows the risks but has continued putting me on my own on these units I know I should say something but I struggle talking to her she can be a bit scary hah x
Some parents like to stay off for as long as they can to spend time with their baby, and if you are at risk in your job your manager should have done a risk assessment and if its not safe put you to do something else and if they cant you cant work but work have still got to pay you because its not your fault or if you have any holiday to take, take them hope you solve the situation : )
First, why are you going to be out of work so long anyhow? Technically you only have to take 6 weeks off after you give birth. If you and your baby are in danger at your place of work, there's no question about whether you should stay. Leave! Why risk you and the baby's health for a paycheck? I'd be more frightened that they'd make me miscarry than when I'd have to be back to work after I had my baby.
