healthy pregnancy after miscarriage?

Has anyone had a healthy pregnancy right after a d and c? It's only been 6 weeks so since my procedure and I believe I'm pregnant again. My mom keeps telling me that this baby won't make it just like the last one since it's so soon, but it need some kind of hope because I really want this baby to make it this time.

I had two miscarriages back to back, I think it certainly is possible that the first one made the second one more likely but didn't cause it by any means, just increased the risk. We waited a few months after the second loss and are now happily 20 weeks along.
You may have a slightly higher risk of loss since your body may not have gotten a chance to fully recover from the invasive procedure you had but it is of course definitely possible to carry successfully after a d&c.

I never had a D&C after I miscarried on the 30th June but found out I was pregnant again not long after, I had a scan on the 28th August & that showed I was 8w + 3d. I am now 32w + 5d with a healthy baby & no complications. Hope this helps & I have my fingers crossed for you :-) xx

I had a d&c done last year and another miscarriage that nature took care of. I am now 36 weeks today with a very healthy little boy. If your body is ready things things will happen for you. Just be sure not to stress yourself out and worry about another miscarriage.

I would say that there is no reason that this one wont be just fine. Dont know if your mom is talking from experience or just being a negative nancy. But if shes just being negative about it i would tell her to stuff it. You have enough going on without all the negativity. Good luck
