Careful with using dairy to relieve heartburn.  It tends to work fast but then the heartburn comes back a few hours later even worse.  Avoid foods high in acid (citrus, tomatoes)  have smaller meals and don't drink large amount during or for atleast an hour after eating.  I agree with others Zantac is a life saver.  For me Tums have a similar effect as dairy.  Works quick but doesn't last.

Zantac 150 does miracles and is completely safe during pregnancy. My dr Prescribed it to me, and it's over the counter. For all my other pregnancies I took tums, but it never helped. I used to take like 5-8 tums a day and still had bad heartburn...with zantac 150..it's just one pill all day and it all goes away.. Hope it helps.

Zantac 150 maximum strength. it is completely safe to take during pregnancy, my dr actually recommended it. When all else fails, it works. Also, try drinking chocolate milk. Eat small meals. Dont eat within a few hours of going to bed. Sleep propped up with pillows instead of laying flat. All of those things have helped me.

I'm the same way and I can't find anything that helps. Hopefully, someone will post something that helps both of us. Good luck :)
