induction into c section

Has anyone been induced and then ended up having to have a c section because you weren't progressing? My Dr just came in to talk to me about this because I came in at 2cm I've been here on pitocin for 24 hours and I'm just now 4cm

I have heard that it is possible from a friend she ended up having a c section because the baby's heart beat was too leak. Everything went great to problems after that.

Most inductions end in c section. Your body was not ready to labor. You will progress if your doctor allows you to. Do you have an epidural?  That typically slows the entire process.
If you want to avoid the c section, ask for the epidural to be turned off or reduced. They don't like it, but you can also ask to be released to go home to see if progression continues at home, where you are comfortable.
