health insurance

I'm 20 my fiance is 25. His insurance is not through his employers. I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant the with both of our first child. I'm currently on my dad's insurance and wanting to get on my fiancees health plan. Is that possible or do we have that wait until after the baby is born? I don't know if it will interfere with either plan if we got married. Sorry if I'm not explaining well.

Assuming you're in the US you can stay on your parents insurance until you're 26 whether you're married or not.

If my fiancée and I got married wouldn't I automatically get dropped from my dad's insurance?

I think you have to be married to get on his plan, however the baby will be covered under his as soon as it's born. I could be wrong though.
