Try orange juice that should help .. Apple juice might make him worse . what also helped my daughter was to give her a spoon full of olive oil what you do is cut some onion and put it to fry in the olive oil and then when the onion starts turning a little dark take them out and let the olive oil cool down and then give. That to your baby but seens his just a month old I recommend to just give him about a teaspoon
Try a few sips of baby water. I wouldn't recommend juices yet. You could try a bath and doing a tummy massage, or doing the bicycle with his legs. You could also try stimulating with a rectal thermometer.
Take 1/2 ounce prune juice 1/2 ounce water shake it works magic. My daughter had the same issue of pear juice.
Go N buy Phillips that's good for a baby when she's /he's constipated
Don't laugh but if you put like a tablespoon of dark kayro syrup in their bottle it helps a ton. Did it with my daughter when she was an infant and worked like a charm! It's an old remedy.
Is he bottle fed or breast fed? 1 month is very early to be trying juices and prunes etc... Maybe a different formula? Allergies or intolerances can cause constipation.
My daughter was breastfed but was getting constipated. I was on antibiotics when she was born and turns out this gave her a digestive imbalance of bad bacteria vs good. A month on SB probiotics doses then a month of baby probiotics fixed it all up.
1 month isn't 2 soon my daughter was constipated at 1 month an that's what Dr recommend. All you have to do is give it to the baby twice a week. That's why its only one ounce of it. If u bottle feed it could be causing the constipation. Breastfeeding has way more nutrition and helps with Babys body system. Hope all works for you an the baby.
