help 9 year ols is sick

She has vomited had diariah gave her advil twice for the fever. Gave her pedialyte to stop the diariah. She keeps whinig her stomach hurts . what to do ? I called the doctors they said keep her hydrated and plenty of rest ok. I just want her pain to go away. Sorry not a pregnancy question

My 2 year old was the same way last Monday same except symptoms.
What I did was only gave him sips of pedialyte and let him throw everything up so his stomach would settle.
then I actually have him benadryl and the vomiting stopped.

Is she complaining of pain in her right lower abdomen. Just keep an eye out. Had my appendix out at 12. Same symptoms. More than likely a virus but you never know.

Bananas and/or rice should help stop the diarrhea.

Right i tried dry toast earlier ahe wouldnt eat it. Then the non saltine crackers came to mind. Thank u

Tylenol is better for fever.  You can give both Advil and Tylenol so if you have some give her a dose.  Maybe a few saltine crackers or dry toast to settle her stomach.  Sorry your kiddo is sick it's so hard to watch them suffer and not be able to fix it.
