water birth

Since I found out I was pregnant again I was thinking about a water birth this time around but not really sure if o can take the pain

Thanks ladies me and my doc will have a conversation about it on the 12 I'm not due till June 15th but I want to have my birth plan ready

I had a home water birth it's less messy I think because my water broke when I was pushing. Very relaxing

The set up depends on the hospital.  Some have rooms built for it, some have ones they set up and fill in any roomand takes about two hrs (my mom is a labor and delivery nurse at one that has it).

Do they have the pool in the room how does that work and will the meds me strong enough to at least help

I have my youngest at a birth center and in the water. It wasnt that bad. I am going to do it again with this pregnancy.

You can still get pain meds that are through an IV but just not the epidural because it makes you bottom half go numb
