You can get tattoos while you breast feed I am going to when my baby reaches two months and breastfeeding is fully established from my tattoo lady who is fully licensed and I've been to before so trust her. Just so you know you can in case you start getting restless about it giggle I know I would :)

I have full sleeves, chest tattoo and implants!  I have high risk pregnancies (been pregnant 7 times and have 3 kids).  Im currently 36 weeks pregnant with my 4th and i see a obstetrics specialist....she has never once said my tattoos are a concern for breastfeeding!!  Hope that gives you peice of mind!

I don't have tattoos...I asked because I want to get one when my baby is born(not literally) and I'm done breastfeeding her for the first year because I'll have the tattoo already later and have kids later..I only asked to see if it was ok too..

Your provider probably gave you a HIV and HEPB test, two illnesses that can be acquired from a unsanitary tattoo establishment If your tats are 1 year or older, and you are cleared of blood infections, you are clear to breasts feed
