Thanks ladies I appreciate all the positive and hope everything goes well.I'm just a nervous wreck. I was already sent to a high risk clinic for bp issues and they discovered this there. I'm hopeful just staying in bed is harder than I thought
I had a short cervix at 22 weeks. I had a cerclage done as per Dr's advice. I am now 37+5 weeks. Will get it removed next week. Had no problems at all. It was a small procedure. Was in and out of hospital in a day. I was told to cut down my activities but wasnt on complete bed rest. So I could go to work a little longer. Only draw back was the "no sex" :/
Sorry it's cerclage not circulate spell check smh
I had the same issue. My cervix measured 17 mms 2 weeks ago at 22 weeks and I'm having twins. I also had funneling which is a double whammy. I was put on progesterone and bed rest and went into the Dr yesterday an my cervix has closed with no funneling so just do as your told mommy it will get better I was a nervous wreck my first week of bed rest. You also are having a singleton pregnancy so if they feel it's that bad your at least you can have a circulate done. Just relax and take it easy. Staying positive is the key. I'm.on the track to having healthy babies in 2 1/2 months.
My cervix is 1.9 cm it was 4 cm I'm on bed rest and my doctor said I will probably deliver at 34 weeks. I'm 29 weeks now. Just stay lying down and it shouldn't shorten to fast
5 to 6 cm is the normal size. When I had a sonogram at 18 weeks they never said anything but I went back at 22 weeks and had another sonogram that's when they discovered it was short 5 to 6mm
Did they say that was considered short? When I had my sonogram at 20 weeks mine measured 5.3cm and they said everything looked great :/
