hi

Hi is it save to dye your hair in ur 3rd trimester??

help!!

I dyed my hair at 27 weeks. My doctor told me it's ok to do it after the 20th week. I did make sure I had a fan blown towards me because of the smell.

Yes much more safe than dying it in the first. No perms. Or color stripping and foils are safer than all over color since it's not touching your scalp, no absorption.

I agree with the above poster. I dyed my hair with an ammonia free hair dye it was a soft black color and now its medium brown again... :/ I'm giving up til I have her out too.

Yeah as long as you don't do it more than a couple times its fine - try not to breathe too much in or get too much on your skin. I will warn you though both times I tried to fix my hair from the bad dye job I got before pregnancy the color washed out in a week. Something about being pregnant just pushes it all right out for me so I've given up til baby arrives lol
