I have a friend whom I've hadn't seen for 2 years she was busy with her life and so had i. One day shopping I ended up seeing her she was 5 months prego and I was 3 months I didn't know how to react but I was happy to see her and I assumed we would talk we exchanged numbers. We didn't text or call but one day I messaged her because  her due date was coming soon she ended up telling me she was having a baby shower and I went and showed I wanted to be there for her then one week after she had a scheduled c-section I messaged her and visited I ended up inviting her to my shower and it has been a month no message and no show to my shower I was hurt but I need to move on she'd had always been thAt no show up girl and I understand she had a c-section but a text or call would have been nice. Should I leave her alone or do I make the effort to be her friend? Am I selfish?

You're not selfish at all. I had a friend like that a few years ago. The best thing is to just leave her be, if she still want to be in your life she'll make that effort. She may have invited you because you two used to be friends. Good luck momma
