Yes as long as it doesn't turn your skin red other then that warm showers are fine
I take 20 minute hot showers everyday and it steams up the bathroom and my skin is often red, my doctor advised its fine as long as its not a bath, i did that with both my children who were born in complete health
No baths period. Hot showers are fine
Why no baths at all? I understand hot baths...I was told no hot tub but never anything about no baths
I was told by my drs I can take a hot bath not too hot and not everyday but I could take one cause it helps with the back pain! (And I'm high risk)
I was told you can take baths but you have to make sure the tub your using is just cleaned and the water does not turn your skin red. Hot tubs are a no-no because they stay at a high temp and that can cause a miscarriage but a bath cools down a lot faster so it's fine. But again make sure your bathtub is clean because they can store germs and can get you infected and cause problems. Hope this helped someone =)
I belive baths are fine as long as your not dilated.
I was told along time ago no baths.
Also, u can yake hot showers even if it gets ur skin red as long as your not in there for longer then 10 min. As long as you keep ur body temp under 102. For under 10 min your ok. Anything v over 102 for longer then 10 min is not good for fetus. However the lady asking is only 13 weeks. Baby is small n very deep inside you. Your prob ok wither way. Don't over heat. N maybe drink ice cold water in the shower to keep ur core cool.
Like the comment above, it's more about your body temperature. That's why you shouldn't be in a hot tub and why it's a bigger deal if you get a bad fever. Unless you enjoy raising your normal body temperature by 4 degrees in the shower (which is hard to do and would be super uncomfortable) you're fine.
The no baths at all is for when your water breaks because the risk of infection is way too high.
Hi im five weeks and they told me if take a bath in hot water that the blood will rise to close to tge layers ofyour skin and blood wont flow to the baby
No the pregnancy nook told me
