Luke warm baths are amazing! They help with aches and pains. I've used bubbles and Epson salt and not one infection. If your doctor says no to a warm bath, then invest in a heating pad for your back, I use mine on low or medium but when I use it on medium I make sure to have a towel over it so its not to hot. Hot tubs are way to hot and the chemicals they use are harmful.

Baths are absolutely fine. I have a bath every night in a few cups of epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) so no soap irritates, and it's proven to help with swelling. Just don't ingest it!

Baths in general (not just during pregnancy) increase your risk for UTIs and yeast infections, especially if you use bubbles or other bath additives. With thay said, Baths are fine to take during pregnancy just make sure the water isn't over 100-101. You won't cook your baby or evaporate your fluid, but the increase in body temp can decrease the amount of oxygen that gets to baby.

K melinkids sweetie yes you can take a bath while your pregnant unless told otherwise by your doc and for the question at hand no hot tubs while pregnant as another lady said it raises your body temp much higher than it should be to fast and that can harm the baby

I asked my doctor and told me that I could as long as I didn't go over 100 degrees and no longer than 10 mins. I didn't get in because I didn't think it was worth it so we drained ours.

Nothing over 105°...you will raise your body temp and that will harm baby.
