husband more excited about football than finding out gender

Anyone else feel like they're loved one's weren't as excited as them. We have a girl already and I thought my husband would show excitement to know we're having a boy, I told him over the phone because he's overseas and all he said was ok. I just feel bad because he sounds more excited watching football than about this. Am I overreacting?

I think its a guy thing honestly like I try to involve my husband more on each pregnancy but i guess theyre not as excited as us lol but i dont think that means they dont care is just that their boys lol and were more sensitive for being girls lol

If it helps none of my family are excited about me having another baby, I expected it because my husbands family was there for my first child's birth but my own family wasn't. I'm excited very, it's not the best time but I'm making the best of it. My husband isn't excited at all though

No. Not at all. This is our third child. We already have one boy and one girl. I wanted a girl really bad, during our gender reveal,  " we did the cake one! Cut it open and wala we are having a girl" I started crying,  hunged him, to my surprise,  he didn't seem to show any emotion.  He smiled but that is it. Maybe it's just a guy thing? Maybe our hormones make us over think things? Not sure but your not alone
