I agree with stop the petroleum jelly.  You should never use petroleum jelly on your genitals -it breaks down mucous membranes and causes irritation.  In the future if you need lubrication use water based lubricants.

Along with the monistat,  stop eating sugars or things that spike your blood sugar because yeast thrives on sugar.  That includes candy,  cake,  white bread,  fruit juices (even real fruit juices but especially the ones that start with "high fructose corn syrup" as the first ingredient).

Cranberry juice is used for UTI bacterial infections,  but don't help with yeast.  As with all fruit juices,  yeasts thrive on it.

Get diagnosed first. But don't feel embarrassed! It so common, especially during pregnancy. I deal with it at least once each pregnancy, this pregnancy more and also UTIs, it *****! Just don't have sex(definitely doesn't help with the itchiness and soreness) and get diagnosed asap that way you can start feeling better quicker(and get back to sex quicker, haha).

U shouldn't be using petroleum jelly. My Dr said that it holds bacteria easily and can cause infections

Yep, monistat 7 for yeast infections works every time.  I also put some baking soda in my bath water (just sprinkle some in like you would bubble bath powder)  it relieved the burning and itching on the outside. The relief usually lasted about an hour after I got out of the tub. Definitely call your doctor before you take anything just in case. Everyone is different alot of people get a Uti along with the yeast infection so they might want you to come in so they can test.
