if you've ever broken your tailbone...

Hey not a question quite so much as advice I wanted to share.
If you've ever broken your tailbone, even if it was a long time ago, mention it to your delivery nurse/midwife/doctor.
Seriously. It might save you some discomfort during labor an postpartum recovery.

Yeah. I broke mine rollerblading when I was a kid. I didn't re break it during delivery, luckily, but it was definitely extremely painful for the first 48 hours after delivery. We had a hard time getting baby's head to pass through it.

Because you could rebreak/fracture it during delivery. Your chances of that happening after you have already had it break increase a lot. My cousin had it happen. She broke hers as a teenager and rebroke it during delivery. She said it was worse than the pain of the baby coming out.
