Early scan and bleeding

Hi there, I started bleeding yesterday and it was a maroon sort of colour. I already had a scan booked for today though, so I just waited all day yesterday.    I had my scan today, measured at 7+4. (a week off what I estimated) I saw the heartbeat, but they could not tell me why I am bleeding. I miscarried last year at around this stage (but no heartbeat was ever detected) and am really worried about it happening again. Has anyone else had this? What are your experiences and outcomes? Especially after seeing the heartbeat?

Gilamalink This is my second pregnancy. My first one ended with an angel at 6-8 weeks. Doctors couldn't figure out my LMP because my cycle messed up. I had servere back pain and heavy bleeding.

This blessing has had me stressed since week four.Like you around week 7 I had some bleeding. No pain just spotting. I went into pure panic mode. The only thing that calmed me down was a ultrasound that showed my little one's heartbeat. I only got that after I informed the doctor of my history.  4 yrs of infertility and two surgeries, .

I am currently still the mommy of a very active son who at 23 weeks gestation still has me on pins and needles. He is the reason why at 2am I am still awake. I learned in the first trimester to take my blessing moment by moment and to talk to my little one often.  It seemed to keep him calm and keep me calm to.

Thanks for your replies ladies. Wow, exactly like me Diamond. I am feeling better about it all this morning, as the bleeding is still light. So I think that's a good sign. Trying not to stress...
I am so sorry to hear about your losses ladies, it's not easy. I am just praying that these pregnancies go well for you.

I am hoping to get an Hcg test through my GP, just not sure if it's an option here in the UK.

Lisa if your bf won't support whatever decision you make, then he's not worth it. You are the only one who can decide what's best for you and your babies.

I miscarried at almost 11 weeks my first pregnancy. I was terrified of it happening again, but i bled for no reason my second pregnancy and had a perfectly healthy baby boy :) I'm now pregnant again and have had no bleeding this time! Every pregnancy is so different

Ladies it could be that you are having implantation bleeding. It could happen for a couple of weeks or, maybe a couple of months. You should ask your ob if this is a possibility in your cases.

Lisa, if he chooses not to be by your side in this time of need, you don't need to be stressing out about how he feels if all he wants you to do is get an abortion. You are not only getting one blessing, but two! That's precious, congratulations!  The love you will have for your children will be like no other and absolutely amazing. Please think about it. It's one of the biggest and most important decisions you will be making in your life. If it's meant to be, he will come around. This is just new to him and he is scared.

I know how you feel I am 7wks+4 days I lost my baby in June this year which am still dealing with now in this pregnancy I have been spotting on and off pretty much since I found out am preggers but I had a scan yesterday and I saw my baby and the doctor told me my baby has got strong heartbeat but she couldn't understand why I have been spotting I have had brown red pink which have all freaked me out! I understand what your goin through and you will be fine it's tough I know and I wish you all the best.

Well here's praying all is ok. The blood turned to bright red today, but it seems to have calmed down now. I just pray that this little bean sticks and that the blood stops by tomorrow.
