induce labor!!

today the doctor said i am going to have an induce labor . i am kinda sad because i heard its more painful :(,,  what was yur experience like??

I was also just told that if no baby this week, they will induce me next week. My dr explained that there are basically 3 types of inductions, and she chose the one that basically gives me the exact same experience like spontaneous labor would. She will start with placing a prostaglandin pill in my cervix and let the contractions start like this. Only if after several hours and 2 prostaglandin pills there are no contractions she will give me oxytocin via the IV. She said that oxytocin starts your contractions immediately.

yes my mom said she had an induce labor with my little brother n they gave her oxytocin thru the iv n said she had my little brother with in 15 mins
