We are in the same boat. I've been told to do squats ,walk and yes have a lot of sex as there's a chemical found in sperm that soften the cervix. Also try eating pineapple
You can drink castor oil. I didn't want to use it at first but when I did it bought on very strong contractions which made me dilate. So I'm sure if I was too drink it again I'd be in labor. Other then that sex, walking, and pineapple is what I do.
There are pressure points on the body that massage therapists are told to avoid as they can help induce labor (I am a massage therapist ) you can Google a map of them and do them yourself or even go and get a massage which may also help to relax your body enough to let it happen (all I ask is not to go into labor on the table it may traumatized your Mt and make a huge mess ;) )
I tried doing everything too. I was exhausted then when I finally gave up trying and waited it out, I went into labor. Breathe, relax and enjoy the last few days / weeks of your pregnancy because once that baby's here it's up and down all night. You'll miss having the opportunity to sleep whenever you want.
I really don't believe anything helps to bring on labor. If it's not time, its simply not time.
I used accupressure with my third, not sure if it worked or was a coincidence but she was born less than 10 hours later
I tried that and now I'm in so much pain ugh hopefully she will come today
Pineapple isn't going to do anything. You would have to eat between 7-10 whole pineapples (core included) for there to possibly be any effect, and the chances are slim because there is so little of that stuff in pineapples that's supposed to help get labour going, that you are most likely to end up with the ***** than anything else. The only proven scientific method to help with labour is nipple stimulation. Try that.
Will I have to buy a fresh once the one I'll have to cut and peel myself or one that is in a can..?
