infection?

I'm 19weeks pregnant with my first child and lately I've had this thick white discharge that was not there before the pregnancy.  Could it be an infection? I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid and every pregnant woman experiences it. Please help.

As long its not accompanied by itching, irritation or foul smell it can be normal. However you should always have it checked by your Dr to be on the safe.

if it doesn't itch or smell bad, it's very normal, the extensive discharge at this period actually helps to keep your "inside' from infection.

I have had the same discharge during my entire pregnancy, my doc says that I am clean and no infection. I am now 28 weeks and still have the same discharge. Sometimes it even smells horrible but the doc checked it and nothing seems like an infection.
