iron tablets

I found out today that I have iron deficit anemia and have been put on 210 mg of ferrous fumarate which I have to take 3 times a day. Has anyone else been on them and how did you find it?

I also have iron deficiency anemia. And I've been anemic my last 3 pregnancies. I also have have to take this 3x as well. But my Dr prescribed them to me. But they will make u constipated tho.

I'm on exactly the same as you 3 times a day. Before taking them I felt so faint every time I stood up it was horrible :/ must of been due to low iron and low blood pressure.
Not a nice time when you go to the toilet though!!!

Thanks guys! Not so happy about the constipation part but I guess it beats feeling how I have been without the tablets!

I don't have those. But ask the pharmacist.  Mine also have a stool softener in them.

Girl you better mix some fiber into your diet because your gonna be soooo constipated.

I am not anemic ..but having iron from my second trimester as supplement ....it tecommended
