I get paid for fmla and ml
Fmla isnt paid short term disability is though
My husband was on FMLA and he still got paid, he hurt his back when we where go cart riding, he called in and then went to the doctor and therapist for 2 months and then he got released to go back to work
Fmla just guarantees you'll still have your job when you come back, it is generally unpaid. I pay for short term disability with each pay check (5 or 6 dollars a check) and so will get some pay while on leave. The US ***** for maternity leave (my cousin who is living in Germany is on her 3rd year of leave, although this year is unpaid).
Mine maternity is unpaid as well, been saving for 8 months so I can afford to take the time off. It was really hard but I changed my spending habits and saved all I could. Good luck!
California is the only state that has disability benefits, my hq is in California but I live and work in Illinois and get no pay. With my first I had to do an ira withdrawal to pay myself for 3 months off, this time I'm taking out a small personal loan to cover my pay.
FMLA is unpaid I was paid because my job had short term disability and I was paid through the short term disability if your job don't have any kind of thing its not paid
I Looked it up on U.S Department of Labor and it says unpaid. I think whoever's post I read was confused. I was about to get mad because my HR likes to screw people over. After I have my baby I will not be staying with the company for too long. Too much drama and annoying excuses about budget cuts.
I live in Missouri and it's unpaid here.
Fmla is unpaid unless yiu have sick time or paid leave through your company. At least you qualify for FMLA I only work a couple nights a week and haven't put in 1250 hours in past 12 months so I don't qualify for any leave. My manager is allowing me 30 days off if I want more I have to quit and then reapply for my job when I want to go back but will lose all seniority and possible bonuses
Depends on where you work...if they say its unpaid its unpaid..you will have to exhaust your leave...I work for the government its not paid so yes I have to use my leave I've accumulated
