I am 22 and I also have lupus. I am 28 weeks pregnant and I had lost about 20 pounds up until like 2 weeks ago. I have gained back 4 pounds. My pregnancy has been great so far, I have to get biweekly ultrasounds to make sure her heart is developing normally. If you want to talk more about it I'm totally available! I had a lupus flare in the beginning of my pregnancy and have been on the meds ever since. I was so worried it would hurt my baby but she is doing fine and gaining weight normally so far. And it made my flare go away thank goodness.
But looking weight during pregnancy isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm overweight to begin with so my doc was actually pleased that I had lost weight. It was because I changed my diet and started excersicing more regularly. Also I had almost no appetite until about a month ago lol

I see the high risk specialist once a week  and an whole team od other doctors every other week they started giving me steroids for the baby lungs and told me the next time I am admitted to the hospital they're just going to take him but I'm worried because I'm not gaining weight and I don't want him so premature

Well you have lupus... so nothing is going to be "normal". You'll need to work closely with your Dr to monitor your pregnancy and see what's best for you and baby.
