itchy and concerned
I've been so itchy lately and it's getting rediculous. I'm 29 weeks and I just recently saw a post on Facebook about ICP (intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy) and it seems to mostly fit my symptoms but I also have hepatitis c and I know that can make you itchy when your levels are off (which currently they are and I'm seeing a GI doctor next week). My worry is that it is not my hepatitis and is this ICP. I've heard it means early delivery and can lead to stillbirth if untreated which scares me to no end. I don't know if I'm being dramatic or if anyone else has any experience with ICP or hepatitis while pregnant and can help shine some light until my appointment.
Omg now I'm scared :( I've been so itchy but just thought it was part of this week's symptoms. I'm 29 weeks too and been awfully itchy everywhere. My arms legs feet everywhere.
Definitely mention it to your doctor. If it is cholestasis you don't want to let that go untreated.
