just a pregnancy rant..

I went to the labor and delivery last night, my contractions were 5 minutes apart when I went in.  I'm 36 weeks and they gave me a shot to stop contractions. Ugh! I told them just to let me have her. I'm soooooo done being pregnant. :(

Where I live they don't stop it at 36 weeks unless There's complications. I've been on bedrest since 30 weeks because I dilated early. I'm 3 days away from being 36 weeks my doctor told me I can get off bedrest in 3 days and if I go into labor at 36 weeks she won't stop it. But she would like me to try to keep her in tell 37 weeks. So I decided I'll stay on bedrest til 37 weeks. Its not that much longer to wait.

There is huge brain development with your baby weeks 35-37. It would've been a mistake for them to allow you to have her when you have the choice and chance not to do so. Plus, they wouldn't do that anyways they would be held accountable for anything wrong with your baby, if they were to of allowed it and not tried to stop it. If they have the chance to stop it they will.

You should feel lucky you are able to continue with your pregnancy and not have to have your baby in a situation like that.
