boy or girl?

Im 22 weeks and have yet to get my anatomy scan. I will finally get it done at 23 weeks. Im so anxious to know that my baby is healthy and also to find out the gender. My family is full of girls. The last time a little boy was around was 20 years ago! Although theres not a lot of kids they are all girls :) i just want my child to be perfect and a girl or boy would make me the happiest mom ever. BUT my mom and sister keep calling my baby he or him. I always correct them and say OR her! Its starting to bother me bc one if it is a girl i dont want them to call her he and two they might be disappointed if its a girl and that makes me upset. I almost feel nervous to find out bc of them. How can i get over this? I only have 4 days to go before i find out but im so anxious now. Anyone go through this too?

I get mine on the 15th. I am very excited. And i wouldn't let that get to me if i were you. They should know there is a 50/50 chance of it being either. And should still love it the same

Well just to let you know gender depends on the dads genes, not urs at all. So if he has brothers than there is a good chance you could have a boy. And i wouldnt worry too much about them being dissapointed, its a baby, they will love it no matter what :) i was suprised i got a girl because my bf has 3 brothers and 1 sister. Im sure next time we will get a boy...hopefully! :)

I think people always say he when they don't know. I do it all the time and did with my last 2. In the end it only matters that they are happy for you. My mil won't even acknowledge that I'm pregnant. I had a girl my sister had 3 then I had a boy. This one since I'm not sure yet I call no name#3 lol. They won't be disappointed but being pregnant is a rollercoaster of crazy. Talk to your mom and she'll tell you it isn't because they want a boy so bad its just what people say. I don't think anyone really knows why.
