kidney stones

This past friday at 1:20am I was rushed to the ER from sudden back pain that was unbearable I was so scared for my baby.. Came to the conclusion it's kidney stones and I became more terrified because there's not many pain killers they could give me other than tylenol and morphine, so about the last one I asked if it was ok for my baby, first they said not sure!!  And than they said if it's a small amount its ok… I was so desperate because i know my baby felt the pain too, I took half the dose plus 3 tylenol and 30 mins later I went to sleep… mind you this was at 5am ughh… what you ladies think?  Should I be worried?

I was prescribed percocet once i was sent home. Ive had kidney stones for years due to my crohns disease and the best advice i can tell u is to avoid caffeine and sugary drinks all together. Drink water with lemon and cranberry all natural no cocktail. To help eliminate pain, hydrate urself very well it will open up ur ureter easing the passing of the stone making it less painful. If u havent already passed it, chug lots of cranberry natural. Hope things go well for you. Take care

I was in the hospital Sunday and Monday last week over a kidney stone . I was on morphine every 2 hours. My baby hasn't stopped moving she's doing fine. The baby isn't in pain he or she probably knows your in pain but they aren't.

There are pain meds u can take while pregnant my doctors have had me on hydrocidone for a long term chronic pain issue baby is fine. As short course of pain meds shouldn't hurt baby. Long term use is a different story
