I write smoking weed when i was 18 weeks pregnant (when my morning sickness went away) and i found out today that they can trace thc in the meconium of the baby all the way back to 16 weeks, ugh i live in AZ and i believe drug testing the baby imposes on my fourth amendment rights for unreasonable search and seizure if they found it and cps got involved...does anyone have any input, i read that in AZ they do not test the baby unless they have reasonable cause like if the mom looked high or said she was..input?? Help..?? Please don't be judgmental yeah i smoked a bit so what get over it if you have a problem please don't answer. thank you all!!!

Here in bama they ALWAYS TEST regardless , but they just do blood test. I smoked until 20weeks! Don't worry!

I don't think they will be able to find anything in the babys meconium when its born if you don't do it anymore. If you stay quit amd stay hydrated it will leave ypure system along with the babys. They will drug test you first and if its positive then they will test the baby. Don't stress you'll be fine!
