labor starting??

So i went to the hospital because i had some blood not alot but im 2cm dialated so just wanted to be sure im still 2cm and 0% effaced but my contractions are 5 mins apart and last over a minute apart am i almost there or only begining?? Im seriously miserable the contactions dont hurt but my back pain is unbearable i want my baby boy out!!

The rule I was told is 3-1-1, 3 minutes apart for 1 minute long for atleast one hour. My contractions started 3-5 minutes apart, I had no early labor. From my first contraction too 3 hours later I was dilated to 5cms. It really is just different for every labor. Make sure your staying active, go for a walk, bounce on a birthing ball. Don't just lay down, will slow labor and make the pain worse.

First baby i was in early labor like that for 3 days before i went into active labor

Ohh and im 38 w one day they sent me home because i need to dialate more but just wondering how ling its taken others when they started labor
