I know lightning is when the baby begins to drop...but can you FEEL this happening?! How do you know?!

Hmmm I think I may be dropping a tad bit then. Just didn't feel anything different. But my belly like sits in my lap now when I'm sitting down. Haha and my hips do hurt a lot. Also feel more pressure on my tailbone area. Just didn't realize that's what it was. I'm a FTM

It doesn't feel like lightening instead you feel like you weigh more your tummy hangs and your hips ache when you move

I was 38 weeks and I walked about a mile and I didn't notice any dropping of my baby but be came 2 days latter I was so surprised I did the whole labor at home while everyone was sleep didn't wake hubby until contractions were 4 minutes apart got to the hospital and was fully dilated and was ready to push lol I was still waiting on the baby to drop it didn't happen

I didnt feel it happen. I did however know that i had dropped. I woke up one morning and looked in the mirror, my stomach was noticeably sitting a lot lower and almost looked smaller. It was unconfortable to pee. Sitting down was hard cuz my belly was sitting on my lap lol. Just felt heavier.

You'll feel like your stomach is sitting on your thighs, it's also a little harder to get up when you're sitting down !

P.s. I'm 37 weeks and haven't noticed anyyyy dropping yet.
