losing weight :-S

I am over weight because for the last few years I've had a "desk job" and I was not exercising at all because I was always wiped out because of my hours. I have a new job and I walk constantly. Today I walked 5 miles just at work. I'm not eating differently but I'm losing weight because of the activity. I know I'm supposed to be gaining weight. I don't know how this works. I can't not work and exercise is important anyway. Wouldn't it be more unhealthy to continue not exercising just to put on baby weight? I don't know what to do! :-S

I'm overweight as well and so far I've lost 30lbs and I'm 19 weeks and all is well with baby and I. My first pregnancy I was overweight as well (always have been) and I lost 83lbs by the end of the pregnancy (working at a lab...very active and I had hyperemesis gravidarum)  but my baby girl and I were both still really healthy. Shockingly,  my doctor wanted me to gain weight (thats a first...lol) but she wasn't worried at all. As long as you're taking you're vitamins and following all of doctors orders you'll be fine.

Congrats and best wishes!!

Im loosing weight with this pregnancy and not complaining. Doctor isn't worried because the baby is still growing fine. As long as baby is good most of the time they arent conserned if you loose weight.

Your fine honestly. They say women who exercise can keep doing it. So obviously this is fine. Plus everyone is diff. I wouldn't worry just yet.
