My son just turned 2 months old, and at the doctor he said my son has a strawberry mark or hemangioma, and has to get an ultrasound BC its over his spine. Has anyone else's child had this, and is he gonna be okay?? Dr said they're genetic, I know I had one but it was on my head.

My daughter had one on her ear.....she is 2.5 years old, its gone now. Good luck and try not to worry!

My little boy had the same thingyat the bottom of his spine it was about 3 inches in diameter. It has now almost completely gone and he is nearly 5. Never had a single issue with it apart from I had to apply sun cream really liberally to the area.

My oldest daughter had one on her arm she is 10 and we just now had her surgery to have it removed some of them go away on their own...

My son is 7months and has one on the back of his head near his neck. Dr never said it was an issue

Okay thank yu ladies I hope everything goes okay with his ultrasound and that it will go away on its own!! It helps knowing other mom's went through this too :)

My niece had one on her head. It is going away on its on slowly.  She is 4 now.
