maternity clothes

Hi ladies I'm 15 weeks today and not showing,  my question is when did you start or when will you start buying maternity clothes? I don't want to just go out and buy some to have them not fit 2-3 weeks later but I also don't want buy some when I have nothing that fits anymore lol should I buy a little at a time or just wait ?

I'm 31 weeks and my belly has just started growing so I actually don't plan on buying any because I won't have long to wear them but I did go but some things that were stretchy and comfortable.

I started to show at 12 weeks and just wore stretchy pants and leggings. At 18 weeks i bought my first maternity pants because i was tired of leggings. I still wear leggings and stretchy pants sometimes. I got maternity shirts too, but i shouldve bought even bigger because i wore them for two weeks and they wouldnt cover my bump anymore!

I recently went maternity clothes shopping and the lady at the store told me to buy the same size as I was pre-pregnancy. As the pants have a belly band and the shirts are rouched at the belly, it will allow for the growing belly. However,  don't start shopping until you need to, no point if you still fit in your clothes.

I never bought any maternity clothes. I just bought stretchy yoga pants! :p

Most of the clothes sizes go by pre-pregnancy size. As long as you gain an average amount of weight then you should be fine with that.  If this is your first pregnancy, you may not show till around 20 weeks. You can get the belly band to use to extend the length of wearing your regular pants longer. That would give you a couple of extra weeks to get maternity clothes.  I am 18 weeks with my 2nd,and am now only in maternity clothes. I still had all my stuff, but did need more because last time I was pregnant in the summer.

Itself probably best to wait until your body actually starts changing to buy new clothes. When you do maybe bbuy pants that are extra stretchy!

I went and bought jeans from Walmart with the belly band because it grows with you. Same with my leggins. And I wear a large shirt and so some of my maternity shirts are L and some XL. For a jacket my mom found me a long sweater at Walmart for $20 and I wear it all the time now.
