measuring small?

I should be about 17 weeks 6 days but yesterday I went to the hospital for spotting and was measuring at 14 weeks 5 days. I'm 90% sure I'm right about my date of last period. Why would I be measuring so off?

I had that experience about that same time but my doctor told me i needed bed rest for a week or two

Luckily I have an appointment tomorrow but I'm still worried about it now so figured I'd get some of your guys input. I'm just worried I'm off because some things wrong.

You could call into your doctor's office and see what they say, just to keep them informed.

Well since it was just an ER doctor and not my normal doctor he didn't really know too much about why it would be off. He said she could just be small, or that I could be off on the dates.

Your period date doesn't necessarily determine when you ovulate, the numbers they give are just averages. I personally ovulate sooner then the average suspected dates, you may just be later. Baby may also just be a smaller baby, what did your doctor say about it?
