measuring way ahead, what are your experiences??

Hi everyone!
I have a question about measuring ahead on fundal height, and whether it turned out to be normal or a complication like polyhydramnios for you all.

Currently I'm 28 weeks, and my fundal height is measuring 4+ weeks ahead. Since the beginning I've measured ahead, around 14-19 weeks I was a week ahead from 19-23 weeks I was 2 weeks ahead and from 23-26 weeks I was 3 weeks ahead. I don't have GD and I haven't gained any weight since becoming pregnant (which is good, I am overweight). I didn't have fibroids on the 20 week ultrasound either. Since my measurements have been growing pretty fast, I measure ahead about one week more for each month of pregnancy, my doctor is worried. So my question is, for those of you measuring ahead, is it excess fluid? Is it a big baby? Is it just the baby's position? From your experience, what caused you measuring ahead?

I'm almost 37 weeks and have measured big the entire pregnancy.  Last week I had an ultrasound and baby was measured an estimated 6lbs 15oz.  So she will likely be a little big but she's slowed diem compared to last ultrasound when she was in there 93%ile for growth!  I have GD but my sugar levels have actually been really great so I doubt that has much to do with it.  Either you'll have a big baby or you could have extra fluid... No matter what it is I'm sure he or she will be healthy as long as you keep yourself healthy!

When I delivered my 3rd child at 36 weeks I measured 50 weeks pregnant. I had 25 centimeters more amniotic fluid than I was supposed to. They should do an ultrasound d to measure your fluid.

Your doctor is worried? Has he done another ultrasound or any tests?

I was measuring ahead at my 30 week appt. I measured 34cm. Went back at my 32 week checkup and was measuring back to normal. So mine was his position. Going to be 35 weeks tomorrow and have an appt in an hour so I'll see if I'm still measuring normal. I really hope so. Has your doctor set you up an ultrasound to see why your measuring big?

My doctor just told me that I'm having a big baby. I have GD but it has nothing to do with it because he's just big all around lol. But she is monitoring me by doing stress tests and ultrasounds every 2 weeks to see if he's getting any bigger. She said it could be that my husband was a big baby because he was almost 9 pounds. I'm 34 weeks but measuring 3 weeks ahead. A lot of my friends have told me that they measured big but when their baby was born, they didn't weigh as big as they thought.
