medicaid while being self employed?

Has any mommies had experience in applying for medicaid while owning a small business? My husband barely brings in 2k a month after paying expenses, and I'm starting to develop preeclampsia.... i have a job with insurance now.  But fmla only covers 12 weeks.  So if I get  put on bed rest I might as well quit. I'm 22 weeks now. I googled the info. We could still apply worst case... but i need some in site on what the dhhr might look for if we have to.

I'm on medicaid. As soon as I got pregnant.  I got approved.  Well try using just your own income. I make okay but when I found out I got approved.  I cancelled my Kaiser insurance.  Saved 200 bucks for 9 months. That's going towards baby stuff

I'm sure thou can apply. I'm not married but did have uhc as a primary insurance and had Medicaid as secondary. it really helped financially.

You can apply without your husband. Medicaid looks at your current situation you can look online for state income guidelines. I would have preferred Obamacare but had lost my job so was forced on Medicaid.  Now that I'm working again I'll ride Medicaid out until the baby is born. I hate that I can't see my regular PCP because they don't take Medicaid as well as most good pediatricians.

They go off how much total you make not what u bring home.

Medicaid will often go by the previous year income. Try Medicaid but if not, there is Obama care
